[21:49] jfw: and poor wotbot couldn't create the new month's article because the wordpress schema decrees that post_excerpt, to_ping, pinged, and post_content_filtered fields are too important to be left null or allowed a default empty string - yet the php code itself defaults them to empty strings; and this hadn't come up before because the old mysql server wasn't enforcing the constraint.
