[00:13] jfw: and from what I gather, the 2% nylon/spandex/elastane/whatever is legit, it's for the select fibers that give the neck its stretch & cling and the heel & toe its reinforcement, which was also the case in my childhood, just perhaps didn't have to be specifically declared back then, because cotton practically went without saying.
